Insomnia is a sleeping disorder which is characterized by the inability to fall asleep.

- Feeling tired in the morning
Evidence suggests that you have an increased risk of dying from cancer, heart disease or strokes if you have insomnia.
Causes of Insomnia
There is no single cause for the disorder.
- Jet lag
- Late night eating
- Hunger
- Alcohol
- Too much caffeine
- Too much noise
- Feeling Uncomfortable
- Health problems eg Asthma
- Stress
- Depression
- Medication
Treatments for Insomnia
- Wake up at the same time
- No Naps
- Do not have caffeine, caffeine, alcohol, nicotine (Stop Smoking) and other stimulants
- Do lots of exercise
- Do not work in bed
- Don't drink or eat before sleeping
- Relax
